GO LONG...

Here's a long version of our little wired pearls & cross necklace. The short one (you may know it already) is 16" (shown here sitting INSIDE the new long one). It is very popular indeed!

...But it has needed a long version for some time now, so here it is in 40" (with five turquoise or white pearl cross stations). With a gold spring ring clasp so you easily double. Worn down long or doubled, the 40" necklace makes a great layering piece for the original 16" one.

I took pictures of : (top pic) the white pearls, wired in gold with the turquoise crosses; and (bottom pic) the black pearls, wired in gold, with the white pearl crosses. Other color ways are available!

THE LONG CLOVER EARRING

If you have been in our showroom here in Dallas recently, you have probably noticed that people are always drawn to this earring. In spite of its BOLD SIZE, it retains a delicate, lacy and feminine feel. I have been showing it in GOLD (seen in the TOP picture, above) for a few months and we finally had a chance to make up samples in SILVER, so I thought I would post some pictures on the blog for you today so you can see the results.

In STERLING SILVER (ITEM # QE1052SS), the picture above shows samples with RUBY RED JADE (top); GREEN TURQUOISE (bottom, left); and PERUVIAN OPAL QUARTZ (bottom, right).

ITEM QE1052 is also available in the original GOLD (QE1052G). If you look at the top picture, you see the style in GOLD with (left to right): BLUE TURQUOISE; STRAWBERRY QUARTZ; and LIGHT BLUE JADE.

TURQUOISE AND PEARL is a summer classic and when you finish it all in gold, it looks extra rich. The thing that truly makes these pieces exceptional though is that HUGE OVERSIZED white coin pearl. These are all real freshwater pearls and measure ALMOST ONE FULL INCH in diameter. They are an amazing new look that is just starting to make the rounds in jewelry. This is hands down the most fun way to wear this "statement" pearl: to mix it with this funky oversized turquoise cross!

I have the necklace in three lengths to stack and layer together (the 40" is great long and also perfect to wrap and layer on with the 2 shorter pieces) and then I have the matching earrings (shown in the second picture).

BIRDIE MAKES IT AS A MODEL...

I blogged earlier about our supersized wire-wrapped bangles and today BIRDIE is modeling one featuring the agate slices, which we all love. The color tones are neutral with lots of grays in them for the fall's gray tones and just a little pop of orange around the edges. Most pieces of agate also feature nice DRUSY cave centers which give them a fancy kind of sparkle but in a cool understated and "raw" way. Love the earthy agate mixed with the bold gold wire. As with our other wire wrapped bangles, one of the desirable things about them is that we can accommodate multiple sizes. So far we have found 3 sizes are fine (small, standard, and large) with the most popular being the large and standard sizes.
